Project Management and Staff 

The Joint Management Unit staff consists of a mix of staff working for both SIRP and SACP and specialists specifically hired or seconded to manage the new SACP activities. The Joint Management Unit and the National Programme Management Unit of SACP are based in Harare and housed within the premises of  the Ministry Lands, Agriculture, Fisheries, Water  and Rural Development. 

The SACP coordination unit is made up of the National Project Coordinator, the Senior Value Chain and Agribusiness Advisor, Senior Infrastructure Officer, the Senior Climate Smart Agriculture Advisor, the Chief Accountant, the Procurement Officer. the M&E and Planning Specialist, Senior Social Inclusion and Nutrition Specialist, the Knowledge Management and Communication Specialist, the Office Secretary, the Assistant Accountant and the Procurement Assistant.

To manage field operations, SACP established four Provincial Project Implementation Units (PPIUs), based in Matabeleland North, Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland East and Mashonaland West. Kwekwe district in the Midlands province will be implemented by the Matabeleland North PPIU while Chirumanzu will fall under the Mashonaland West PPIU. 

At the district level, implementation is carried out through the Agricultural Extension Services staff (AGRITEX) network, who form implementation teams in the 18 SACP districts. District level operations will also be supported by SACP-resourced staff from other public institutions.
