Zimbabwe remains one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change in the southern Africa region, largely due to high dependency on rain-fed agriculture and natural resources as well as climate-sensitive livelihoods. Climate shocks in the country have produced immense and observable impacts, and now such shocks, particularly droughts have intensified, becoming more frequent, severe, and widespread. These shocks have affected the livelihoods of already vulnerable and poor communities in the country.
