SACP begins work to establish nutrition gardens

The Smallholder Agriculture Cluster Project has begun work to establish nutrition gardens that will support farmers to begin cultivation of crops that will be sold to enable them to earn an income. The scope of works at the gardens includes the solarisation of boreholes, establishment of a 1.25 nutrition garden, watering troughs for livestock and portable drinking water for the community. 

The exercise commenced in Matabeleland North where 20 gardens will be stablished in the four districts of Hwange, Binga, Nkayi and Lupane.
