We are happy with this intervention. What made us happy was the engagement of locals to provide labour for the establishment of the SBU. This enabled them to earn an income. The establishment of the business unit enabled us to easily fill our dip tank with water. . Our cattle are no longer affected by tick borne diseases, this water point
The nutrition corner will greatly assist school pupils who used to bring relish from home. After the sadza was cooked, the children would realise that their relish would have gone bad from being kept in a lunch box for many hours before consumption. We hope to be able buy cooking oil and other forms of relish from the proceeds realised from this garden.
We are going to engage community members to come and work from the garden and be paid some money by the business unit. We also hope that this project will assist to alleviate drug abuse problem which is rampant in the community.
